National Gallery of Umbria - Floor

Here you see a multi-layer floor comprising a layer of oak glued on birch plywood. This is a room at the National Gallery of Umbria in Perugia. This application shows us that it is possible and alright to use hardwood floor in institutional buildings. (Source: Ottagono, 237, February 2011)
